Monday, April 25 1763

I dined on the remains of yesterday’s dinner. Lent Mr Thomas Carman the 32.11.0 I received of Mr Thomas Porter the 23rd instant on the parish account and received his note of hand for the same payable to Mr Porter, Jeremiah French and myself, or any of us, for any of our order on demand and with interest for the same after the rate of three pounds percent per annum in trust for the parish.

In the evening wrote my London letters. At home all day and thank God very busy.
