…In the forenoon my old acquaintance Mr Tipper came to see me and dined with me on some beefsteaks fried… Rec’d of Mr Richard Bristed in cash 4.18.0 in full for his and Thomas Pelham Esq’s poor tax due from the rate made the 24th March last.
