Paid for bread 1d. Gave the post 3d for bringing some parcels. After schooltime Stephen Vine and I walked over to Framfield; found my mother better. Gave the boy 3d for going with me. Came home about 6:30. I [went] up to John Vine Jr’s and stayed about 1 hour.
