Sunday, Feb. 27: At home all day. My wife, maid and two boys at church in the morning, but not myself because I have wrung my heel and could not get my shoe up. While they were at church, Mr John Tucker came to see me, who dined with us on a piece of bacon, parsnips, turnips, greens and a currant batter pudding. My maid and nephew at church in the afternoon, Mr Tucker stayed and drank tea with us and vent away about 5:50.
