Thursday, May 10 1759

Mr John Breeden called on me and breakfasted at our house, and then we walked over to Framfield and appraised my mother’s household goods… We came back to our house, and Mr Breeden went home. John Watford Jr a-gardening for me all day. My wife in my absence… sent by the post 3/9 to Mayfield for my club arrears, this being a quarterly meeting.
