In the forenoon my brother came over and dined with us, as did Mary Heath, on an eel pudding, a lamb’s heart pudding, the remains of yesterday’s dinner and potatoes and turnips. I received of my brother in cash 8.17.9½ in full… In the afternoon Mr Thornton carried my wife out for air. Dame Lewer drank tea at our house… At home all day and thank God very busy. Mary Heath a-washing for us all day.
