George Richardson called and breakfasted with us. I lent him Young’s Night Thoughts. Dr Stone came and bleeded me. Sent my maid to Framfield after dinner to borrow some lump sugar, where she heard I had cried off all my customers from coming before 8 o’clock in the morning or 4 in the evening. At home all day and not at church.
