In the forenoon my brother and John Babcock assisted me in packing up my rags, which we did in 4 bags containing 11 cwt. 2 qr. 17 lbs. They both dined with me on the remains of Sunday’s dinner with the addition of some fried eels, a currant rice pudding, some turnips and carrots. My brother went away about 3:15. Charles Diggens and his nephew drank tea with us and I paid him 2/6 in full for making a pair of breeches. At home all day. Rec’d of Joseph Fuller 1 bullock’s heart.
