Paid Mr Heaver the miller at Isfield 5/6 for 1 bushel of oatmeal received today. In the morning walked over to Framfield and breakfasted with my brother. Then we walked down to Mr Peckham’s, where we breakfasted again. I bought Mr Peckham’s wool for my brother at 23/6 per tod. I came home about 10:20… My wife very ill. In the evening read part of a book entitled Letters from a Moor at London to his Friend at Tunis.
