In the morning went down to Mr Porter’s. Hired Mr Virgoe’s new house at 50/- per year, to enter upon it at Lady Day next, N.S., to make whatever use I like of it as a warehouse; agreed to give him 0.1.6 for beans etc. planted. Balanced with Mr Will Piper and received of him as under:

I received of Master Hook a hat of 12/-, which I am to exchange for another, or anything else to the same value. Afterwards paid Master Hook the above 0.12.0 in goods, Thomas Davy and Master Hook stayed the evening. Thomas Davy and I went to cribbage. I won 1d.
