Mr Breeden and I dined at Framfield on the remains of Tuesday’s and yesterday’s dinners with a plain rice pudding. Today we completed the appraising the stock-in-trade and stayed and drank tea at Framfield and then came home about 7:10. Mr Breeden supped and lodged at our house. In the evening ill with a sore throat, swelled face and the fever. Thomas Davy supped with us on account of his riding Mr Breeden’s mare over to Framfield, but we were come away before.
