In the morning set Will to digging in Mr Virgoe’s garden. Posted more of my day book and wrote out some bills. Balanced Mr Thomas Thompsett’s accounts with Joseph Fuller Sr as under:

Mr Thomas Thompsett Dr. 2.0.0
Joseph Fuller Dr.1.3.2
The balance I paid 0.16.10 (see above).

Rec’d of Joseph Fuller Sr 2.5.5, which with the balance of Mr Thompsett’s account (to wit) 0.16.10 makes 3.2.3, which is in full of all accounts due from Mr Sam Durrant of Lewes to me. Rec’d of Will Eldridge 6/-, which with 16d I owed him makes 7/4 and is in full to this day. Paid Mr John Gosling 10d for mending a pair of breeches for Mr Thompsett. Rec’d of Ann Durrant 0.10.4 in full. In the evening at Master Durrant’s. After supper read part of Tournefort’s Voyage.
