In the forenoon posted part of my day book and wrote out some bills. After dinner Joseph Durrant and I went to Mr Milllar’s at Burghill [an estate in Chiddingly]. Mr Millar promised me his son should come to me to school. I received of him 18d due to Mr T. Thompsett for 6 weeks’ schooling Henry. Came home about 5:30, drank tea and went into Joseph Durrant’s to instruct Thomas. After supper read The Tragedy of Macbeth, which I like very well.
